Granting Third-Party Access to Taxually

PLEASE NOTE: This must be done by a user who has permission to manage other users in your Business Account.

  • Log in to Colorado Revenue Online (ROL)

  • Click Manage My Profile

  • Click the More.. tab

  • In the Access Management section, Click Grant Third Party Access and then Next

  • Enter Lumatax as the username

  • Select All Periods for the periods to grant Lumatax access to

  • Check the checkbox for the Sales Tax account

  • Click the blank box (with the *) in the Access Level column

  • Select File & Pay and click Submit

SUTS Account - How to Create a SUTS Account

PLEASE NOTE: If you already have a SUTS account, then please skip to the next section. 

Information about the SUTS Account Creation:

Taxually requires all clients collecting local sales taxes in Colorado to register with the Colorado Sales & Use Tax System (SUTS) portal. Registering for a SUTS account allows us to report your local Colorado taxes accurately and efficiently.


Without a SUTS account, it is significantly more complicated and time-consuming for our filing team to prepare your returns and requires you and Taxually to keep track of more logins than necessary.

Creating a SUTS account is very easy. At your earliest convenience, please create a SUTS account by following the steps provided below.


Instructions for Creating a SUTS Account:

PLEASE NOTE: This is a registration form for the SUTS portal, not a new tax account registration.

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to know your Registration date in Colorado (the date you began business in Colorado) to complete the account creation.

  • Go to SUTS

  • Click the Sign Up link

  • Enter an Email (preferably a company group email).

  • Verify your Email

  • Complete a User Profile

  • When asked, select Individual Business registering for the first time, fill in the Business information and click Continue

  • Complete the Registration Form

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not have a SUTS account, then please follow the instructions in the prior section to set up a SUTS account.

  • Log in to SUTS

  • On the Dashboard, locate the section with your business information (titled as your business name).

  • In this section you will find:

    • the 6-digit Account Number ("Acct #") (format 123456) and 

    • the 6-character Activation Code (format ABCDEF)
