Modified on Thu, 28 Aug at 3:24 PM

Finding the Required Onboarding Information

  • Log in to Delaware Taxpayer Portal

  • Click the Gross Receipts Tax Account listed under “Tax Account” on the Home page

    • *Note: We don’t support returns for the E911 Retailers account so please don’t provide details for this account if you are registered for it.

  • Account Information: After clicking the Gross Receipts Tax account, you'll find the following information we need (under the Account Details section):

    • Effective Date - please enter this as your Effective Registration Date (formatted as MM/DD/YYYY).

    • Filing Frequency - reference the Filing Periods chart at the bottom of the Account Summary page.

    • Account Status - please email Taxually if your account is closed or inactive, as we may need to resolve this before continuing onboarding

  • Next, please follow the instructions below to set up Third-Party Access for Taxually.

How to Setup Third-Party Access for Taxually

PLEASE NOTE: This must be done by a user who has permission to manage other users in your Business Account.

  • Log in to Delaware Taxpayer Portal

  • Click the Profile dropdown tab from the menu

  • Select Manage Authorized Users from the dropdown menu

  • Click the Add New Authorized User button

  • Enter Lumatax as the User ID

  • Enter TU00000930930 as the Registration Confirmation Number and click Next

  • Confirm the correct user information appears (Michael Glover, Lumatax)

  • Check the box on the left-hand side to select which Taxpayers (Businesses) you would like to give Taxually access to.

  • Select today as the Start Date. You do not need to input an End Date.

  • Permission Settings: In the Assignments column, click the dropdown that says "Apply a Template" and select either:

    • CPA Access: Authorizes filing tax returns, making payments, viewing correspondence, viewing and renewing licenses, and submitting select service requests

    • Full Access: Authorizes all business functions including filing returns, making payments, updating tax locations, making account updates, and submitting all service requests

  • Alternative Manual Setup (skip if you applied a template above):

    • For Taxpayer Functions: Select functions that allow us to file tax returns, make payments, and view correspondence

    • For Tax Type Authorizations: Provide access to your Gross Receipts tax account(s)

      • Note: We don't support E911 Retailers returns, so we don't need access to this tax type

  • Click Save

  • Click Complete / Confirm

  • You will receive a success message and return to the Manage Authorized Users page with the newly delegated user (Michael Glover, Lumatax) appearing in the list.

  • If successful, please confirm that the third-party access setup for Taxually is complete.
