Finding the Required Onboarding Information
Log in to the OH/ID Portal
Click Open App on the OH Tax eServices app
On the Summary tab, you will see your sales and use tax related tax accounts listed
If you do not, then you have not completed your account setup and must finish this first.
For Filing Frequency, reference the filing frequency listed on the tax account type under your FEIN:
Please provide the filing frequency of your “Out of state sellers” or “Sales Tax” account.
Note: We usually do not file tax returns for Consumer Use Tax accounts. If you are registered for this tax account, we will need to discuss whether it is something Taxually can support at this time.
For Effective Registration Date (Required for First Return Filings Only):
Click the Additional Services menu tab
Click the View Letters and Notices link
Locate and open the Registration Confirmation letter for your sales tax related accounts ("Out of state sellers" or "Sales Tax"). If it is not in the Inbox...
Click the Search tab and enter a Sent From date before your registration (example: year 1980) and click Search
Scroll all the way down to locate and open the Registration Confirmation letter for your sales tax related accounts ("Out of state sellers" or "Sales Tax").
Go to the second page of the letter. Above the letter, click the button to go to page.
Provide the “Start Date” as the Effective Registration Date (formatted as MM/DD/YYYY)

Click on the Account Access Requests in the menu bar
Look for Michael Glover/LumaTax in the Requests for Account Access Section and click the Approve Icon, finally, click Confirm.
Note: The following steps may or may not be applicable for your business/this access request.
Click on Service Area Access Management in the menu bar
Look for the Requested Service Area Access requests from LumaTax. For all of them click the approve (checkmark) icon and then click confirm.
Click on User Authorizations in the menu bar
In the left-hand menu bar, under the Filer Account section, select the check box next to LumaTax. (Or under the Filer section, select the check box next to Michael Glover.)
Under the grey, horizontal Permission Template section at the top, select all the toggles, click the Copy Permissions button, and then click the Save button below that.
Please confirm that you approved the third-party access request in the Ohio Onboarding for Taxually. Change the answer to “Yes” and then submit the update to Taxually so they can confirm the access and enable tax filings.
