LumaTax is the software platform that Taxually uses to manage and submit your U.S. and Canadian tax returns. 

What can you do with LumaTax?

When you log into LumaTax, you'll have access to a range of essential features: 

• Complete onboarding: Easily navigate through the U.S. and Canadian onboarding process
• Tax return management: Review and approve your tax returns before final submission
• Flexible data upload: Upload additional data files beyond Stripe data when needed
• Document access: Securely access and manage shared documents related to your tax accounts

User management

Initial Setup

We start with a single user account to ensure the highest level of security for your tax information. This approach allows for controlled and secure access to your tax management platform.

Adding and removing users

You have control over your LumaTax user access: 

• Navigate to your name in the top-right-hand corner within your LumaTax profile. 
• Click the dropdown and then click Users
• Easily add or remove team members who need to participate in the tax filing process
• Manage access permissions with just a few clicks

Email notifications

Want to keep your team informed? We offer customizable email notifications: 

• Data upload reminders: Monthly notifications prompt team members to upload any additional data files not automatically imported from Stripe
• Return approval alerts: Receive timely notifications when tax returns are ready for review, helping you meet critical filing deadlines

Please note: If you add additional users to your LumaTax profile and would like them to receive our automated notification, please get in touch with us at lumatax@taxually.com with the details (full name and email) of the users you've added.
