How do I update legal changes to my business?

Modified on Tue, 8 Oct at 11:54 PM

When a business owner experiences a legal change that impacts their business, it’s crucial to address the situation promptly in order to maintain compliance. If you need to make any legal changes to your business including:

  • business name

  • ownership

  • power of attorneys, sales tax officers, etc.

  • business address

You’ll first need to contact and notify your Department of Revenue (DOR) of the legal changes. Once that step is complete, reach out to Taxually Support and we’ll make sure to get the information updated for you.

Additionally, Taxually can help you regarding updates with each state DOR. If you would like to take advantage of this service, bear in mind that some additional fees may apply. For any questions or concerns, you can contact us anytime!
