How to connect your marketplace data to CrossTax via API

CrossTax has existing integrations with several large e-commerce platforms, providing a seamless and fully automated data transfer process. These are one-way integrations - our APIs do not push any data back to the underlying systems.

Currently supported integrations:

  • Amazon (EU only)

  • Shopify

  • Stripe

Amazon Seller Central Integration

Shopify Integration

To set up integration with your Shopify store:

1. Install the Taxually App on the Shopify Marketplace

To get started with integrating your Shopify account with Taxually, simply log in to your Shopify store and install the Taxually app.

2. Contact Taxually Support

Reach out to our team and provide the following information:

  • Your Shopify store URL (in the format xxx.myshopify.com)

  • The country where you deliver your goods from

  • Confirmation if you sell products that benefit from reduced VAT rates in EU countries

3. Backend Integration

Our technical team will complete the integration on the backend and you will receive confirmation from our team once the integration is complete and operational.

Stripe Integration

To set up integration with your Stripe account:

1. Install the Taxually App on the Stripe Marketplace

To get started with integrating your Stripe account with Taxually, simply log in to your Stripe account and install the Taxually app.

2. Find your Stripe Account ID

  1. Login to Stripe

  2. Go to Settings → Profile

  3. Locate your account ID at the bottom of the page (it starts with "acct_")

3. Contact Taxually Support

Reach out to our team and provide your Stripe Account ID.

4. Backend Integration

Our technical team will complete the integration on the backend and you will receive confirmation from our team once the integration is complete and operational.

Important Notes:

  • Stripe Tax must be enabled in your Stripe account so that a tax report is generated

  • Our current Stripe integration requires the user to be utilizing Stripe Invoicing

  • Any non-invoiced transactions will not be captured and must be loaded manually
