Closing Your Business? Contact Us First

If you have closed your business or are planning to close and you are currently onboarding US jurisdictions, please contact our team at app@taxually.com before uninstalling the Taxually app.

Why This Matters

While uninstalling the app will discontinue filing generation for your business most US states require a final return to be filed when a business closes. Simply uninstalling the app does not complete this process.

What We Recommend

We strongly recommend getting confirmation from our team that your accounts have been properly closed with the relevant tax authorities. This ensures:

  • No missed filings that could result in penalties

  • Final returns are filed where required

  • Your tax accounts are properly closed with each jurisdiction

How to Proceed

Email us at app@taxually.com with:

  • Your Stripe account ID

  • Your business information

  • Your planned closure date

Our team will guide you through the proper closure process for each jurisdiction and confirm when it's safe to uninstall the app.


Failing to file required final returns can result in penalties and notices even after your business has closed.
