How do I pay my taxes?

Modified on Mon, 28 Apr at 9:07 PM

You are responsible for paying your taxes in each jurisdiction. Each jurisdiction has different requirements:

  • In the USA: If you have a US bank account and provide the required information during onboarding, we can link your account to the tax authority so that payments are automatically debited via ACH.

  • Outside the USA: Bank/wire transfers are required, and this varies by country. For each payment, we will give you clear instructions on the payment amount, destination, and deadline.

Once a tax return has been approved by you, you will be able to see the payment instructions available for each tax return.

A few important things to keep in mind:

  • You must ensure the tax authority receives the exact amount due as shown on your tax return.

  • You are responsible for covering any bank fees, and if the tax authority receives less than the amount owed, you may be liable for penalties or interest on late payments.

  • If making international bank transfers, remember that they can take a few days to process, so plan ahead to ensure your payment arrives before the deadline.
Note: The deadline is the date by which the tax authority must have received the funds, not the date you send the payment.
